what our caregivers say

Nicole Palumbo

At home service can be beneficial in many ways for you as a pet owner and pets. We take the hassle out of driving to an appointment at a vet clinic and minimize any stressful events your pet can have when coming into a clinic.

Older pets and pets that get nervous or stressed easily will greatly benefit with with service by letting them be more at ease in the comfort of their home. We work closely with your veterinarian to make sure your pet gets the proper care and support they will need throughout their lives.

We have a fear free approach when entering a home and discuss plans with pet owners to make sure their beloved pets get the gold standard of care they deserve.

Elizabeth Mendoza

At home services help improve care by reducing stress and letting us come into a place where they already feel safe.

We can take a little extra time to get them feeling comfortable without the noises of other anxious and nervous pets that normally come in a hospital setting.

I know as an anxious dog owner how hard it can be for the pet and owner dealing with the hospital anxiety. Homelove will make the experience of pet and vet care a lot better for a nervous pet.

I’m excited to be a part of making visits less stressful for pets and owners and being able to provide care and love to them.

Minimum of 3 years' experience as a veterinary technician in practice, including obtaining diagnostic samples and performing treatments.
Fear-Free Certified or in training (preferred)

Our Caregivers receive a vehicle stipend for every Homelove visit.
What services will I be responsible for during house calls?
Our services include diagnostics for reference labs (such as bloodwork, fecal, and free-catch urine), blood pressure evaluations, vaccine boosters (except Rabies), and more. Separately, Homelove offers pet care services such as nail trims, anal gland expressions, and ear cleanings to help offload demands from practice teams.
How safe is it going to client’s homes?
At Homelove, the safety of our Care Crew is a top priority. We trust our Caregivers to use their best judgment, and they are never required to enter a client’s home if they feel unsafe. Every visit is supported by a team of two Caregivers, and our equipment includes tracking capabilities to ensure we can locate our team at any time.
